Novel Writing [Dip.Art.] Become a successful writer. Everyone of us has a book within themselves. Being a successful author, however, like everything else requires technique and ‘trade’ skills. This course uncovers the importance of plot and structure in great fiction writing. The parts are plot, holding the plot together, how to create plot ideas galore, beginnings middles and endings, scenes, complex plots, the character arc in plots, plotting systems, revising a plot, patterns, common plot problems and cures.

Newspaper and Magazine Article Writing [Dip.Art.] Become a successful newspaper and magazine writer. Newspapers and magazines are always on the look out for interesting and new pieces to brighten up their pages. The course gives practical advice on becoming accepted and having your work accepted and paid.
